Where to find info about settings?

Hi, just installed better messages (websocket) and am going over all the settings.
Is there a manual or online instruction area were I can find what the different setting do and how they work?
I see settings like Mini Widget, Combined View, Mobile View, etc. but have no idea what this will look like on the front end and what they do.
Is there some info I can find about this?
